UNITECR 2023: Welcome Evening with already 800 participants

The refractories world conference UNITECR started on Tuesday evening with the Welcome Evening. From Sept. 26 - 29, 2023, more than 1,100 participants attended the Unified International Technical Conference on Refractories ⟮UNITECR⟯.

At the Welcome Evening, more than 800 participants were already in Kap Europa and looking forward to networking and getting to know refractory experts and their customers, suppliers for raw materials or machine equipment, as well as executives from research and development or the qualified junior staff from universities and institutes.

In his welcome address, UNITECR President Dr. Andus Buhr spoke of the gratifyingly high level of interest in attending the Refractories Conference and was pleased with the forward-looking choice of the keynote theme "The Carbon Challenge", which had already been set for 2020 and is now red-hot.
