"We have heard from many people that the workload is currently very high. The Scientific Committee has discussed the situation. Important conferences such as IREFCON or Congresses in the USA have only just ended. The companies are in the planning and budgeting phases and have a lot of things to do," explains UNITECR head of planning Thomas Kaczmarek.
In this respect, the submission deadline will be extended by two weeks to December 15, 2022. After that, the evaluation committee will have to start its work over the Christmas period and inform the submitters by the end of February 2023 which abstracts may be prepared for presentations or posters.
In the meantime, work on the framework program has begun. The first bookings for the available exhibition space in the venue Kap Europa have already taken place.
